Summary: When a massive asteroid grazes the Earth's atmosphere, the planet is shifted off its orbit and spirals closer to the sun. As the ozone layer is destroyed and world temperatures soar, a Los Angeles police officer and a team of scientists fight to save the planet from solar devastation.
