Summary: Stu becomes caught in the meshes of "adopt an animal day" and a normally quiet household turns into a merry menagerie. The rising cost of eggs causes Stu to cut food costs, and in short order, he has six hens and a cow on his property. The harassed high school principal learns about a rumored relationship to Peter Stuyvesant and starts digging into the ancestral archives for confirmation. Harold convinces Jackie to buy a "mind reading" book and together they cook up a scheme to make everyone think she's a clairvoyant.
